Fauna EPBC Species

EPBC Act (Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999) provides for the listing of nationally threatened native species and ecological communities, native migratory species, and marine species. Categories include; critically endangered, conservation dependant, extinct in the wild, endangered, vulnerable and extinct. In 2019-2020 Gillamii undertook a baiting program between the Stirling Range National Park and Hamilia Hill Nature Reserve, targeted at protecting the Western Quoll (Dasyurus geoffroll) commonly known as the chuditch.
