From July 2006 through till June 2009 the Shire of Cranbrook has invested $98,755.80, at $32,918.60 per annum, with the Gillamii Centre. A portion of this funding has gone to the employment costs of the Administrative Coordinator. This position plays an important role in providing the continuous link between the Gillamii Centre and our stakeholders. In order to effectively service our community it is necessary for the Gillamii Centre to retain regular opening hours.

As our Project Officers are predominately project specific and field-based positions, they are unlikely to be within the office at regular times. The Administrative Coordinator provides this regular presence within the centre for enquires from the general public and funding providers. Throughout the last investment period the number of projects provided through the Gillamii Centre has increased resulting in an increase in the number of hours of financial management required to effectively manage these projects. The includes insurance, BAS statements, financial reporting to funding bodies, and payments of accounts, payroll management, contract documentation and correspondence.
